New Photography

Tokyo Life

Recently, I became the proud owner of a Canon 40D digital camera, which has liberated me no end from the costs of film and developing. Whilst I still think film produces the best results, I am delighted with what I am able to achieve with the digital format.

My website requires updating, but examples of my latest work can be found at Flickr. CLICK HERE!

Nice photo. Stillness of the central woman in focus. She's In the midst of speedy Japan. Her body is there, but her mind is somewhere else, talking to someone on the phone. The focus could be a literal representation of that going on. Sharp, but she's blurred the outside.

It's been a while since I visited your site, so I had forgotten how brilliant your photos are - but now I remembered - I get gobsmacked every time I look at your photos. You should work for the National Geographic!
I hope you are well, xx
