Rain

Over the past week, it has rained almost constantly. I woke up early yesterday, ready to head out to the mountains for a Sunday hike. But, instead of glorious sunshine, I was greeted by the incessant patter of heavy rain!

It is easy to hate wet weather, but what a gift it is to have. Without this bounty from the heavens, there could be no crops, fresh fluid for consumption, or the beauty of a rainbow, manifesting out from the distant horizon.
