Par Par Lay Arrested In Burma

In Burma, few are brave enough to speak openly against the regime. A family of comedians, the Moustache Brothers, have been doing so for decades. I have had the pleasure of meeting the Moustache Brothers on two occasions. Par Par Lay, the eldest of the group, who was previously jailed for five years, after making a joke about the government, has once again been arrested after serving food to monks in Mandalay. His location and condition is unknown.
