Since childhood, the Shroud has captured my imagination. May I ask what your position is towards it?<br /><br />The power of the Biblical stories are such, that the potential that some kind of incredible event had created the image, is a potential that holds up as long as the faithful continue to believe in the stories.<br /><br />Those that discount the New Testament, accept a world where the miraculous cannot be allowed. The Shroud is a bridge between these to positions, that could either reinforce or diminish faith if proven a fake or not.
